Knox Regional Communications Center

The Knox Regional Communications Center is located in the Law Enforcement Center at 327 Park Street in Rockland. The Center Services the entire Knox County area as well as Rockland, Owls Head, South Thomaston, Rockport, Vinalhaven, North Haven, Matinicus Island, Isle Au Haut, and Monhegan island.

Jurisdictions include:

• Rockland Police, Fire E.M.S.
• South Thomaston Police, Fire E.M.S.
• Owls Head Police Fire E.M.S.
• North Haven Police Fire E.M.S.
• Vinalhaven Police Fire E.M.S.
• Rockport Police

• Knox County Mutual Aid Fire and E.M.S.

The Knox Regional Communications Center handles over 20,000 calls for service per year. This number does not include all non-emergency calls that are answered by the Center.
